Dr.
Robert Szypczak
Dr. Robert Szypczak, "Ship-chak" or Dr. Rob
if you prefer, is a native of Munster, Indiana, and
a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington and Illinois
College of Optometry, Chicago. Dr. Szypczak has been
a resident of Bluffton since 2004. He specializes in
difficult contact lens fits, treatment of ocular disease
and comprehensive, educational eye examinations. Outside
the office, Dr. Szypczak plays for the Bluffton Eagles
baseball team, is an avid golfer and bowler, enjoys
a good competitive match of Tennis, and is an automotive
enthusiast. He has been known to work for golf!

Dr.
Jennifer Switak
Dr. Jennifer Switak graduated from Illinois State and
Illinois College of Optometry in 2004 with honors. She
has received specialized training in pediatrics and
vision therapy and enjoys working with kids. She is
a member of the AOA, SCOA, COVD, and the Low Country
Optometric Society. She practices primary care Optometry,
has training in fitting specialized contact lenses while
also incorporating pediatrics to our growing community.
In her spare time, she enjoys reading, bowling, gardening,
golfing and being a mom to her baby boy.

Fred
Catalano
We are proud to have Fred Catalano as our Bluffton Optician
and glasses expert. Fred has close to thirty years of
experience in the Optical Industry. He has unsurpassed
knowledge in the manufacturing, fitting and repair of
glasses. He is a native of New Jersey, and has been
a resident of the Low Country and Hilton Head since
2005. Fred, or "Freddy Frames," as we call
him, will help you find the right pair of glasses that
will make you look great, feel great and ensure that
they perform well with your glasses prescription and
visual needs.

Jessica
Palmer
Jessica is our charming Receptionist and Insurance Specialist.
Originally from Pennsylvania, she now calls the Low
Country her home along with her son Grant. She is the
gatekeeper to our office with a great smile. Call her
for any questions that you may have on your insurance
or to simply book an appointment.

Jill recently moved from northeast Ohio to join our staff. With over 25 years of Optical experience both nationally and internationally Jill brought her exceptional knowledge and friendliness to help you with your vision needs.
